Blaide is a fictional razor brand that I created as a part of my bachelor's thesis. The goal was to create gender-neutral packaging for the product. Visual elements were chosen according to research about masculine and feminine visual elements as well as consumer surveys.

My bachelor's thesis explored gendered visual elements that are used to brand products for women and men as well as the societal phenomena that effect perceptions of visuals and gender. I also discussed gender-neutral elements and analysed various gender-neutral brands’ use of visuals. As a part of the brand creation process, I reviewed AI tools for design and examined the effects of AI in creative fields.
Blaide is the product of my goal to create a gender-incusive razor brand. The brand combines masculine blue with feminine pink and curvy shapes as well as neutral fonts.
